The dispensing volume is approximately 100 prescriptions daily, including 15-20 chemotherapy cases, providing a meaningful impact on patient care.

Direct Hire Responsibilities:
Interpret, verify, and process physician medication orders with precision Perform and supervise sterile compounding activities in strict accordance with USP and standards Conduct final verification of compounded sterile preparations to ensure safety and accuracy Review medication profiles for allergies, drug interactions, dosing, and compatibility Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams Supervise, mentor, and support pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff Maintain cleanroom standards, aseptic techniques, and environmental monitoring procedures Oversee quality assurance, medication safety initiatives, audits, and continuous process improvements Manage pharmacy documentation, inventory, controlled substances, and overall pharmacy operations Develop and maintain pharmacy policies, procedures, and staff training programs Lead team meetings and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance including OSHA, DEA, and State Board of Pharmacy standards Enforce safety protocols with proper personal protective equipment (PPE) usage
Qualifications:
Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing 3-5 years of sterile compounding experience, including hazardous and non-hazardous compounds, complying with USP, DEA, OSHA, and Board of Pharmacy regulations Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and time management skills Pharmacy management experience Preferably 3-5 years of recent experience in home infusion, hospital, or oncology infusion pharmacy This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist leader committed to excellence in sterile compounding and infusion pharmacy services.
