You will ensure regulatory compliance while providing leadership and support to pharmacy staff.

Responsibilities:
Interpret, verify, and process physician medication orders accurately. Perform and oversee sterile compounding following USP and USP standards. Conduct final verification of compounded sterile preparations to ensure safety and quality. Review medication profiles for allergies, interactions, dosing accuracy, and compatibility. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members. Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff to uphold best practices. Maintain cleanroom standards, aseptic techniques, and environmental monitoring processes. Participate in quality assurance, medication safety initiatives, audits, and continuous improvement efforts. Maintain accurate compounding, batch, quality, and regulatory documentation. Assist with inventory management, controlled substances handling, and daily pharmacy operations. Support the development of pharmacy policies, procedures, and conduct staff training sessions. Engage in staff meetings and professional conferences to stay current in practice standards.
Qualifications:
Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing. Minimum of 1 year of experience with hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding per
USP , USP
, DEA, OSHA, and Board of Pharmacy regulations. Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a focus on teamwork and patient safety.
