Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem Per Diem Staff Pharmacist opportunity available in the Fort Lauderdale area, with coverage needed on Thursday, July 30th from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. This role primarily supports retail and specialty
HIV/AIDS
pharmacies and offers flexible per diem work across multiple locations in the region.
Location:
Plantation, FL (Fort Lauderdale area) and other nearby client pharmacies
Schedule:
Monday to
Thursday:
8:30 AM - 5:30
PM Friday:
8:30 AM - 12:30 PM No weekend shifts Per diem schedule with flexibility for additional shifts as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense and manage HIV/AIDS-related medications with a strong focus on accuracy and patient safety Provide empathetic, non-judgmental care to a sensitive patient population, building trust and rapport Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient support Utilize QS1 pharmacy software efficiently for daily operations Demonstrate pharmacy intuition by proactively identifying and fulfilling pharmacy duties to maintain smooth workflow Exhibit a positive, team-oriented attitude and dependable attendance
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years retail pharmacy experience with demonstrated expertise in
HIV/AIDS
medication dispensing Software proficiency, specifically with QS1, is essential Strong communication skills with patients, colleagues, and providers Commitment to patient-centric care, especially for vulnerable populations Dependable and punctual, with a professional and proactive approach to pharmacy practice This position is ideal for pharmacists passionate about serving the
