Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused Florida-licensed pharmacist to provide coverage at our independent community pharmacy in Bradford county. This is a flexible scheduling position with no weekend shifts . The pharmacist will be responsible for safely and accurately dispensing medications, counseling patients, supporting day-to-day pharmacy operations, and ensuring all activities are performed in accordance with applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards. Primary Responsibilities Review prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, legal requirements, appropriate dosing, interactions, and other potential medication-related concerns. Accurately verify, and dispense prescription medications. Counsel patients regarding proper medication use, potential side effects, precautions, and other relevant treatment information. Answer patient questions regarding prescription medications, over-the-counter products, and general medication-related concerns. Evaluate patient concerns and provide appropriate recommendations or referrals when necessary. Assist PIC with medication inventory, proper storage, labeling, expiration-date monitoring, and other inventory-related responsibilities when needed. Work collaboratively with pharmacy technicians and other staff members. Follow and implement established pharmacy policies and procedures. Maintain compliance with applicable federal and Florida pharmacy laws, regulations, quality standards, and pharmacy policies. Leadership & Team Support Help maintain an organized, efficient, professional, and patient-centered pharmacy environment. Promote excellent customer service and positive relationships with patients. Help maintain efficient workflow while prioritizing medication safety and accuracy. Qualifications Active and unrestricted Florida Pharmacist License — required. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Sound professional judgment, integrity, dependability, and commitment to patient care. Community/retail pharmacy experience preferred. Willingness to learn the pharmacy's software system if not already familiar with it.
Pay:
$57.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 16.0 per week
