Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A night shift pharmacist position is available at a 200-bed community hospital in Florida, ideal for candidates with hospital inpatient experience and a valid Florida pharmacy license. This contract assignment offers a 7-on, 7-off schedule working from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing a balanced work-life rhythm.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform order verification to ensure accuracy and safety Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily operations Apply pharmacokinetic principles in patient care Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication management Utilize Meditech and Pyxis systems for medication distribution and documentation
Desired Qualifications:
Active Florida pharmacist license Experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy settings Willingness and availability to work night shifts
Schedule:
7 days on, 7 days off Night shift hours: 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM This contract role begins as soon as possible and has a duration of approximately 13 weeks, with potential for extension based on needs.
