Pay Rate:
$70 - $80/hr Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pharmacist to join our healthcare team, committed to delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring pharmaceutical excellence. In this vital role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing expert consultation on drug therapies, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Your expertise will support hospital operations across various departments, including critical care units, emergency rooms, and specialized units such as pediatrics and oncology. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your clinical knowledge in a dynamic hospital environment, making a meaningful difference in patient outcomes every day. Duties Dispense prescription medications accurately while verifying dosages, interactions, and contraindications using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS) Provide comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate pharmacotherapy plans in collaboration with medical teams Offer expert guidance on pharmaceutical regulatory compliance and drug regulation standards to ensure safe medication practices Manage IV infusion preparations, aseptic techniques, and sterile compounding for critical care and specialized units such as PICU and oncology Precept pharmacy residents and students, sharing clinical pharmacy experience and fostering professional development Support acute pain management, emergency room medication protocols, and post-residency practice to optimize patient care in high-pressure environments Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on medication administration, pharmacotherapeutics, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology to enhance patient service Requirements Pharmacist License BLS 1 Year Inpatient Experience.

$70.00 - $80.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
