Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A leadership opportunity awaits for a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager in the Greater Atlanta area. This direct hire role is ideal for a pharmacy professional experienced in managing infusion pharmacy operations who is ready to guide a dedicated team and uphold the highest standards in sterile compounding and patient care.
Schedule & Location:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with schedule flexibility required Administrative on-call responsibilities as needed Based in the Decatur, GA area
Role Description:
The Pharmacy Manager will oversee daily operations of the home infusion pharmacy, managing clinical services to ensure the safe delivery of intravenous therapies in patients' homes. This role requires hands-on leadership in sterile compounding, personnel management, and regulatory compliance, alongside business strategy participation to enhance branch performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, pharmacy dispensing, and inventory management Lead recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of pharmacists and technicians Ensure strict compliance with state pharmacy laws and USP compounding guidelines Collaborate clinically with healthcare professionals to optimize infusion therapy outcomes Engage in branch budgeting, workflow improvements, and performance enhancement initiatives Participate in pharmacist on-call rotation and assume administrative on-call duties when necessary
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Georgia Minimum five years of clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings Proven leadership skills with a focus on training and developing team culture Expertise in IV admixture services and regulatory compliance Preferred experience with CPR+/CareTend systems This role emphasizes long-term success through a strong culture of training and leadership.
