Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A full-time pharmacist position is available for approximately two months on site in Lawrenceville, GA. This role focuses on order verification and dispensing, providing critical relief to clear a current backlog. The position begins with a training period working alongside current pharmacists before transitioning to regular shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently. Dispense medications while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Provide support to pharmacy operations to reduce backlog. Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless workflow.
Qualifications:
Active Georgia pharmacist license required. Maryland license is beneficial but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Schedule:
Initial training involves a minimum of 15 hours working alongside current pharmacists, scheduled between 9:30 AM and 6:00 PM over multiple half-day shifts. Post-training requires a 40-hour workweek with flexible scheduling options available anywhere within a 24/7 window. Opportunity to work additional hours beyond 40 per week if desired.
