Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire Manage daily pharmacy operations and clinical services within a home infusion setting, overseeing the safe administration of intravenous therapies delivered in patients' homes. This direct-hire position is based in Lawrenceville, GA, and requires a focused leader to guide sterile compounding activities, lead pharmacy staff, and uphold stringent regulatory standards while promoting branch success.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily pharmacy workflows including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control. Lead recruitment, orientation, ongoing training, evaluation, and scheduling of pharmacists and technicians. Ensure compliance with State Boards of Pharmacy regulations and USP sterile compounding guidelines. Maintain clinical expertise in infusion therapies, collaborating closely with healthcare providers to enhance patient care. Drive business objectives through budgeting support, workflow efficiencies, and performance improvement efforts. Provide administrative on-call support as needed; support pharmacist team with rotating on-call duties.
Qualifications & Requirements:
PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution. Active, unrestricted pharmacist license valid in Georgia. 5-7 years of combined clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings. Strong background in IV admixture services and adherence to regulatory accreditation standards. Demonstrated success in team leadership, staff development, and training for sustainable growth. Preferred experience with CPR+/CareTend pharmacy management systems. This role values a clear emphasis on staff training and orientation geared toward long-term success and operational excellence.
