Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A full-time pharmacist role is available on a contract basis, supporting order verification and dispensing operations to help clear a backlog. This position is located on-site in Lawrenceville, GA, and is expected to last approximately two months.

Schedule:

Initial training requires a minimum of 15 hours, working alongside current pharmacists. Training shifts are scheduled between 9:30 AM and 6:00 PM, with each shift lasting at least half a day. After training, the schedule will be 40 hours per week with flexibility across a 24/7 window. Additional hours beyond 40 per week are negotiable if desired.

Responsibilities:

Perform order verification accurately to ensure proper dispensing. Dispense medications according to protocols and patient requirements. Serve as relief staff to address and reduce current backlog efficiently. Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain workflow continuity.

Qualifications:

Active Georgia pharmacist license (required). Maryland pharmacist license is advantageous but not mandatory. Previous experience in a pharmacy setting performing verification and dispensing is highly preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
