Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A specialty pharmacy in Pocahontas, IA is seeking a Pharmacist for a contract position lasting 13+ weeks. This role focuses on long-term care pharmacy duties and offers a schedule primarily Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with some weekend shifts.
Responsibilities:
Perform long-term care pharmacy services, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Manage medication dispensing and consult with healthcare providers. Maintain patient records and assist with immunization protocols where applicable. Support inventory management and regulatory documentation.
Qualifications:
Active Iowa Pharmacist License or Iowa Temporary License. Immunization certification preferred. CPR certification preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Location:
Pocahontas, Iowa, specialty pharmacy setting.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. Some weekend hours required.
