Travel Pharmacist - Champaign, IL

Job Description

A retail pharmacist position is available for a short-term travel assignment in Champaign, Illinois, from September 21 to 25. This role focuses on providing excellent patient care through accurate medication dispensing and professional counseling.

PM Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications following prescriptions with accuracy and safety under managerial supervision. Counsel patients on drug regimens, providing clear, helpful advice to ensure proper medication use. Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with organizational policies. Maintain and manage medication stock, including controlled substance inventories and records. Resolve issues related to patient medication and third-party insurance coverage.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Clear and active pharmacist license in Illinois. Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience. Familiarity with pharmacy software, preferably Pioneer. Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach.
