Evanston, IL Schedule:

Day shifts 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough review and verification of medication orders to ensure patient safety and accuracy Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support as needed Perform inpatient clinical pharmacy duties including the checking of intravenous (IV) medications Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and communication

Desired Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient clinical pharmacy experience Proficiency with EPIC or similar EMR systems Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Effective communication and leadership skills for supervising pharmacy technicians This contracting role offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic inpatient pharmacy team and gain valuable experience within a fast-paced hospital environment.
