Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem A home infusion pharmacy specializing in IV and infusion services seeks a Clinical Pharmacist for a per diem role in Joliet, IL. This position supports patients with acute and chronic medical needs, providing essential clinical pharmacy services in a specialized setting. Training will be provided to ensure familiarity with the pharmacy's systems and workflow.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and process physician orders accurately and efficiently Perform sterile compounding and support cleanroom operations Ensure safe dispensing of medications and infusion-related supplies Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records in compliance with federal and state regulations Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality operations Manage assigned patient caseloads and provide pharmacist coverage as neededQualifications:
Active Illinois Pharmacist License in good standing required Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience, with preference for 2+ years of clinical pharmacy experience Experience in infusion therapy and/or sterile compounding preferred Knowledge of USP sterile compounding standards Strong communication, multitasking, time-management, and critical-thinking skillsLocation:
