Job Type:

13-week contract with possible extension

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, either 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM Potential weekend rotation

Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and safely to patients within the hospital setting Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy plans Provide pharmaceutical care including medication management and counseling Assist in nutritional support and IV therapy as needed Apply pharmacokinetic principles to individualize drug therapy Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and pharmacy standards

Qualifications:

Current Illinois Pharmacist license is required Minimum of 1 year recent hospital pharmacy experience Additional training or experience in nutritional support, IV therapy, and pharmacokinetics is a strong plus Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in a small hospital environment This position offers a valuable chance to practice pharmacy in a rural hospital setting while contributing to high-quality patient care.
