Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract An established hospital with 300 beds seeks a skilled inpatient pharmacist to fill an overnight shift on a 7-on/7-off schedule. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with hands-on experience in an inpatient setting and familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records.
Location:
Mendon, IL (near Quincy)
Schedule/Hours:
Overnight shift, approximately 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM 7 days on, followed by 7 days off
Duration:
13 weeks or more, starting
ASAP Responsibilities:
Accurately dispensing and verifying medications for hospitalized patients Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication regimens Managing pharmacy inventory and ensuring timely access to medications during the overnight hours Utilizing EPIC and Omnicell systems for medication documentation and delivery Providing expert consultation on medication therapy and safety protocols
Desired Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist in Illinois Minimum of 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience Experience working with EPIC electronic health records preferred Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight hours This contract role offers the chance to apply your clinical expertise in a well-equipped hospital environment with advanced medication management technology.
