If you want a steady, low-chaos environment where you know your patients by name and get to grow past straight retail dispensing, this is that job. The schedule (a real one) Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM No overnights, no rotating shifts, no surprise closes What you'll do Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely Counsel patients face-to-face — this is a big part of the role, not an afterthought Handle patient questions and issues on the phone with patience and clarity Work directly with prescribers on clarifications, therapy changes, prior authorizations, and problem scripts Work through a wide range of billing and reimbursement scenarios — commercial, Medicare/Medicaid, discount programs, and cash options — to get patients the best price we can Learn and support our compounding services Administer immunizations and support other clinical services Be a visible, friendly presence in the community Why this role is different We're independent, so you're not locked into a single script. Pharmacists here get exposure to compounding, complex billing and reimbursement work, and expanded clinical services — real skill-building beyond standard retail. What we're looking for Active pharmacist license in good standing (or license-eligible) PharmD or BS in Pharmacy Immunization certification required (or willing to obtain — we'll help) Strong communication skills — comfortable and confident with patients, staff, and prescribers alike Personable, patient, and genuinely good with people Comfortable troubleshooting insurance and billing issues Compounding experience is a plus, not a requirement — we'll train the right person New graduates are welcome to apply. Experience Valid licensure as a registered Pharmacist in Illinois and prefferably Wisconsin Proven experience working as a Pharmacist in Ia retail or clinical setting preferred Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and team members Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with pharmacy management software systems and electronic health records Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in pharmaceutical sciences Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise makes a meaningful difference!
