Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services in Lawrence, KS. This position offers a dynamic work schedule with a mix of day and evening shifts, along with rotating weekends, ideal for professionals seeking diverse clinical experiences.
Responsibilities include:
Providing inpatient clinical pharmacy services, ensuring safe and effective medication management. Supervising pharmacy technicians and overseeing medication distribution. Checking and verifying medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness. Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
Qualifications and desired experience:
Active KS pharmacist license required at time of application. Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient pharmacy experience preferred. BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the assignment location. Open to first-time traveling pharmacists ready for new challenges.
Schedule:
Mixed shifts including days and evenings. Rotating weekend coverage. This 13-week contract begins on September 21 and provides an opportunity to enhance clinical skills in a fast-paced inpatient setting with supportive colleagues.
