- Staff Pharmacist Job Type Travel Soliant is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacist to join a pharmacy team in Kansas for a 13-week travel assignment starting soon.
Schedule:
Variable days/afternoons, including rotating weekends. Key Responsibilities- Provide standard inpatient pharmacy services in a hospital setting
- Review, verify, and check medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety
- Perform final medication verification and ensure medications are prepared and dispensed appropriately
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in their daily responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy
- Monitor medication therapy and assist with appropriate drug selection and dosing
- Answer medication-related questions and provide clinical support to the healthcare team
- Follow hospital policies, pharmacy procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Assist with other general inpatient pharmacy duties as needed Requirements
- BS in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Active/clear Kansas (KS) Pharmacist License must be in hand at the time of submission
- 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
