The facility includes a 25-bed hospital and an 18-bed skilled nursing facility, providing a dynamic environment that supports a broad spectrum of patient care needs. This per diem role offers a focused work period from October 12th through October 16th, with shifts running from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

Accurately verify and process medication orders. Provide consultation and collaborate effectively with physicians and nursing staff. Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and hospital protocols. Utilize Cerner and MedDispense IT systems to manage medication distribution. Support medication management in both acute care and skilled nursing facility settings. Maintain clear and detailed documentation related to pharmacologic interventions.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active Kentucky Pharmacist license is required. Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred. Proficient in using Cerner electronic health records and MedDispense systems. Strong communication and teamwork skills to interact with clinical staff. Ability to work independently and demonstrate attention to detail.
