Job Summary UK HealthCare is seeking a highly motivated pharmacist for this hematology/oncology clinical pharmacist position. The clinical pharmacist will provide comprehensive, patient-centered pharmacotherapy primarily on inpatient hematology/oncology service lines. Services include but are not limited to interdisciplinary team rounding, treatment regimen clinical review, therapeutic drug monitoring, and patient education. This pharmacist will also provide educational services to pharmacy students and residents, pharmacists, physicians, and nurses through avenues such as precepting and in-service presentations. This pharmacist will be expected to contribute to the scholarly productivity of the enterprise through clinical research, quality improvement, etc., uphold UK Healthcare core values, and maintain effective teamwork with pharmacists, residents, technicians, interns, physicians, nurses, allied health staff, and others. The ideal candidate will have graduated from an ACPE-accredited school/college of pharmacy, completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency (or equivalent experience), and must be eligible for licensure in Kentucky.
