Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire A specialty pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to support Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services in an onsite production role. This position operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, based in Gonzales, LA, with the work location specifically in Baton Rouge. The initial commitment is for a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension or transition to direct hire.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform medication dispensing and review processes within a specialty pharmacy MTM environment Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy protocols Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication regimens Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to quality assurance standards

Qualifications:

Active pharmacy license in Louisiana is required Additionally licensed or eligible for licensure by reciprocity in at least one of the following states: Alaska, Arkansas, California, District of Columbia, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, or Wyoming Experience in retail or specialty pharmacy settings preferred Strong understanding of medication therapy management and specialty pharmacy operations

Schedule:
