Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced staff pharmacist to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of pharmacy operations and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care to our patients. Your expertise in medication administration, pain management, patient assessment, physiology knowledge, anatomy knowledge, critical care, and most importantly patient service, will be essential in providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure efficient and accurate dispensing of medications
  • Oversee inventory management and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing pharmacy practice
  • Implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure pharmacy environment
  • Provide clinical support to healthcare professionals regarding drug therapy decisions
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and medication use processes
  • Provide education and training to pharmacy staff on new medications, protocols, and guidelines
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.
D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Current pharmacist license in Massachusetts
  • Strong knowledge of medication administration, pain management, patient assessment, physiology, anatomy, critical care practices, and patient service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
