Competitive / Negotiable (Commensurate with experience) Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in a dual-focus role combining upfront retail dispensary operations with advanced clinical pharmacy interventions. In this position, you will oversee accurate dispensing, lead medication therapy management, and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes. Oversee accurate medication dispensing, inventory control, and staff workflow while adhering to pharmaceutical regulations and safety protocols.
Clinical Interventions & Consultations:
Provide clinical consultations on pharmacology, drug interactions, contraindications, and therapeutic optimization to healthcare teams and patients. Medication Therapy Management (MTM): Conduct detailed medication reviews, therapy reconciliations, and patient assessments utilizing Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) platforms.
Patient Education & Care Delivery:
Counsel patients on medication regimens, specialized therapies (including pain management, pediatrics, and chronic care), side effects, and administration.
Compounding & Quality Compliance:
Manage non-sterile/sterile compounding, aseptic techniques, and medication preparation with high precision and regulatory compliance.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
Partner with local clinics, physicians, and mid-level providers to resolve drug-related problems and optimize treatment plans.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited institution ( New/recent graduates welcome! ).
Licensure:
Active, unrestricted State Pharmacist License in good standing (or scheduled to sit for boards).
Certifications:
Immunization Certification and active BLS/CPR certification preferred.
Experience & Skills:
Open to all experience levels: experienced retail/clinical pharmacists, residency-trained candidates, and motivated new graduates with strong clinical rotation (APPE) experience. Familiarity with clinical therapy reviews, EMR/EHR documentation, and managed care concepts. Exposure to specialized care (e.g., pain management, oncology, pediatrics, or acute care) is a plus. Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
