Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A specialty pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to provide expert care in a long-term care setting. This contract opportunity offers a chance to utilize your clinical expertise in a dynamic environment focused on specialized medication management and patient care.
Location:
Faribault, MN Duration:
13+ weeks
Hours:
24-40 hours per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Some weekends required
Responsibilities:
Perform long-term care pharmacist duties, ensuring accurate medication dispensing and patient safety Provide medication therapy management and counseling to patients and healthcare providers Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards Support immunization initiatives as needed
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
PharmD degree or equivalent professional pharmacy degree Immunization Certification CPR Certification Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Certification preferred Strong knowledge of long-term care pharmacy practices Excellent communication and organizational skills This contract role is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists looking to leverage their specialty pharmacy skills in a supportive and structured environment.
