Jackson HealthPros is seeking a part-time Pharmacist to support partner healthcare facilities with safe, accurate, and compassionate medication services. You will review and verify orders, dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and collaborate with care teams to optimize drug therapy. Responsibilities Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and safety Dispense prescriptions and counsel patients on proper medication use and side effects Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize drug therapy Maintain accurate medication records and ensure regulatory and documentation compliance Oversee inventory, storage, and handling of medications and controlled substances Provide drug information and clinical support to healthcare professionals Participate in quality, safety, and formulary initiatives for assigned facilities Adapt quickly to new facility environments and EMR/pharmacy systems Ensure adherence to Jackson Health Pros and facility policies and procedures Uphold high standards of service, integrity, and professionalism with clients and patients Required Skills Medication dispensing and verification Clinical pharmacotherapy knowledge Patient counseling and education Drug utilization review and safety monitoring Regulatory and compliance knowledge Pharmacy and EMR software proficiency Inventory and controlled substance management Interdisciplinary care collaboration Medication therapy management (MTM) Time management and multitasking
