The pharmacist will also ensure code carts are restocked correctly and oversee the daily activities of pharmacy technicians, providing direction to support efficient operations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining medication safety and readiness, collaborating closely with a team of pharmacists and technicians.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

Missouri Pharmacist Licensure is required Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience; new graduates will be considered Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workflow in a fast-paced environment Effective communication skills for working with pharmacy staff and clinical team members Training for this role will focus on product verification and typically lasts 2 to 3 weeks, adjusting based on the pharmacist's capability.

Schedule/Hours:

Central pharmacy operates with a day shift staffed by 5 pharmacists and 10 technicians, and an evening shift staffed by 2 pharmacists and 5-6 technicians This position will primarily work day shift, overseeing central operations This is a contract opportunity ideal for pharmacists seeking an active role that balances technical verification duties with team coordination in a hospital pharmacy setting.
