Licensed Pharmacist Full Job Description Role Overview:
Seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services in a community hospital setting. The role involves practicing at the top of licensure through Medication Therapy Services (MTS) protocols that support clinical intervention and medication optimization. The pharmacist will assess, monitor, initiate, and modify medication use based on patient condition and age-specific criteria, ensuring accurate preparation and dispensing. Responsibilities include supervising pharmacy personnel, evaluating medication orders for appropriateness, and serving as a medication therapy resource for staff and patient care transitions. The role emphasizes collaboration, patient-centered care, and safety within the medication use process.Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy Minimum of 2 years of experience; supervisor experience not requiredLicenses & Certifications:
RPh license, Medication Therapy Services inMO Preferred:
Doctorate in Pharmacy, 2-5 years of experienceKey Duties:
