Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A rehabilitation hospital is seeking experienced pharmacists to fill two critical openings in the Omaha area. These roles focus exclusively on inpatient rehab care, managing complex therapies such as TPN and IV antibiotics. This setting does not include emergency or obstetrics cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and dispense medications, primarily TPN and IV antibiotics, for patients in the rehab unit. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care during 3-hour shifts. Utilize Altera Sunrise pharmacy system; training is available for qualified candidates. Adapt quickly and work independently in a dynamic environment.
Location:
Omaha, NE (close to La Vista) Schedule includes Monday to Friday with Saturday coverage from 8 AM to 4 PM and rotating weekends.
Qualifications:
Active Nebraska pharmacist license. Prior experience with rehab hospital pharmacy practice is highly preferred. Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. Familiarity with pharmacy software systems such as Altera Sunrise is beneficial, but training will be provided.
