Substantial Profit Sharing + Equity/Ownership OpportunitiesPosition OverviewOur client, one of the nation's largest home infusion pharmacy networks, is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) and Operator to lead and grow its Lebanon, New Hampshire operation.
This is more than a traditional pharmacy leadership position. The successful candidate will oversee clinical care, sterile compounding, regulatory compliance, team leadership, daily operations, and business growth while helping build and scale the pharmacy throughout the region.
The ideal candidate is an experienced pharmacy leader with an entrepreneurial mindset who wants significant operational responsibility and the opportunity to participate in the long-term financial success of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for the pharmacy.
- Lead daily pharmacy operations while maintaining the highest standards for patient safety and clinical care.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations, USP , and applicable accreditation requirements.
- Oversee sterile compounding, dispensing, inventory management, documentation, quality assurance, and medication safety.
- Review and verify medication orders for clinical appropriateness, accuracy, and patient safety.
- Provide clinical guidance and patient counseling related to home infusion therapies.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, payors, referral partners, and other healthcare professionals.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop pharmacy team members.
- Establish efficient workflows, operational processes, and quality standards as the pharmacy grows.
- Develop relationships with hospitals, specialty clinics, providers, and community healthcare organizations.
- Support referral development and strategic business growth throughout the region.
- Drive operational performance, patient satisfaction, quality improvement, and long-term pharmacy growth. Additional Information
Help for Additional Information. Qualifications - Active New Hampshire Pharmacist License or ability to obtain licensure before starting.
- Eligibility to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge under New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy requirements.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of sterile compounding and applicable USP standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to build relationships with healthcare providers and referral partners.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in building, operating, and growing a pharmacy business.
Preferred Experience
- 5+ years of pharmacy experience.
- Previous leadership experience as a PIC, Pharmacy Manager, Director of Pharmacy, or Supervising Pharmacist.
- Home infusion pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
- Specialty pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or ambulatory infusion experience.
- Experience launching, expanding, or scaling pharmacy operations.
- Business development or referral relationship experience.
Preferred Therapy Experience
- Biologics.
- IV antibiotics.
- Immunoglobulin therapy (IVIG).
- Parenteral nutrition.
- Other acute and chronic home infusion therapies.
Compensation and Benefits
- $180,000
- 225,000 base salary, negotiable based on experience.
