Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A hospital inpatient pharmacy opportunity is available for an experienced Staff Pharmacist with at least one year of inpatient experience. This position offers a 13-week contract assignment starting September 8, with a day shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Location:
Clifton, NJ Schedule/Hours:
Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Responsibilities include:
Dispensing and verifying inpatient medication orders accurately Reviewing patient profiles and medication histories to ensure safe medication use Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient pharmaceutical care Utilizing EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and order verification Adhering to hospital policies and regulatory guidelines for inpatient pharmacy operations
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience Proficiency with EPIC or similar EMR systems Active pharmacist license with credentials in good standing Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to travel; candidates within 50 miles of the site will not be considered, making this an ideal opportunity for first-time travel pharmacists This role is ideal for pharmacists looking to gain experience in a dynamic inpatient hospital setting with a reputable medical center.
