Job Description
Currently seeking a Consultant Pharmacist for a hybrid position in Long Term Care. &The position is full time / part time in Camden county. Must have NJ Board of Pharmacy license. Our Consultant Pharmacists are professionals who are trained to share responsibility for the patient's medication regimen; they have access to the latest and best information on drug interactions, thorough knowledge of clinical outcomes, quality assurance, state and federal regulations, and health care education. Areas of focus will include antimicrobial therapy, pain management, use of psychoactive medications. Collaborate with physicians and other health care providers in managing medication therapy to ensure patient needs are met. Apply specialized knowledge of the scientific and clinical use of medications; including medication action, dosing, adverse effects, and drug interactions. Active role in the development and implementation of protocols, antimicrobial stewardship initiatives and appropriate drug utilization.
