Job Description
Baron II Drug and Surgical is a family-owned, independent neighborhood pharmacy that has proudly served Moonachie and the surrounding Meadowlands community since 1984. We focus on personal attention, dependable service, and lasting relationships with our patients. Our services include prescription filling, free local delivery, medical equipment, compliance packaging, immunizations, medication synchronization, medication therapy management, patient counseling, and prior-authorization assistance. We are seeking a dependable, personable PIC who shares our commitment to patient safety and community-focused care. This is a full-time role requiring a minimum of 35 hours per week, consistent with New Jersey PIC requirements. The schedule typically consists of three 10-hour weekdays (exact days to be determined) and a required 6-hour shift on Saturdays. We offer flexibility and will discuss specific scheduling details further during the interview process. Responsibilities Oversee daily pharmacy operations, workflow, and patient service. Ensure prescriptions are accurately reviewed, filled, labeled, dispensed, and documented. Provide professional medication counseling and personalized patient care. Supervise and support technicians and other pharmacy personnel. Maintain required prescription, inventory, controlled-substance, security, storage, and policy records. Ensure compliance with New Jersey Board of Pharmacy requirements and applicable state and federal laws. Support insurance claims, prior authorizations, Med Sync, compliance packaging, immunizations, MTM, and related services.
