Pharmacist

• Type:

• 3-month contract, with potential for extension or a full-time offer

• Pay:

• $62 to $72/hr

• Location:

• Newark, NJ

• Schedule:

• 1st and 2nd shift available; 40 hours a week.
• Responsibilities of the

Pharmacist:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Counsel patients regarding medication usage, side effects, and interactions
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Ensure compliance with all federal and New Jersey pharmacy regulations
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Manage inventory and medication storage standards
• Administer immunizations and health screenings as permitted
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate pharmacy records
• Qualifications for the

Pharmacist:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
• Active Pharmacist License in the State of New Jersey required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Immunization certification preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
