Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a skilled pharmacist to provide inpatient pharmacy services in a hospital setting. This role requires a minimum of one year of inpatient experience and offers a reliable 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM shift.
Location:
Westwood, New Jersey Schedule:
Monday to Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30
PM Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately within a hospital inpatient pharmacy Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for medication management Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Monitor medication therapy and adjust as necessary under established protocols Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active pharmacist license in the state of New Jersey At least 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience Familiarity with EPIC EMR or similar electronic medical record systems Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team First-time travelers welcome; local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered This assignment is ideal for pharmacists seeking to gain valuable inpatient experience through a structured shift schedule.
