Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire A new specialty pharmacy in North Las Vegas is seeking an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead its newly built facility focused on insourcing compounding operations. This opportunity offers hands-on leadership of a growing pharmacy specializing in GLP-1 medications, allergy treatments, and immunotherapies.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the designated PIC, ensuring full compliance with USP, FDA, and state board regulations. Oversee sterile compounding operations, including workflow optimization, personnel management, and quality assurance. Ensure compliance with multi-state pharmacy regulations, with emphasis on California and other non-resident states. Develop, enforce, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to sterile compounding. Hire, train, and supervise pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Manage pharmacy inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions efficiently. Oversee environmental monitoring, validation, and documentation programs. Ensure proper handling, storage, and dispensing of compounded sterile preparations. Collaborate with leadership on operational strategy, expansion, and licensing. Maintain meticulous records and ensure the pharmacy is always inspection-ready.Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Active Nevada pharmacist license required; California license highly desirable due to cross-state business. Minimum of 3 years' experience in hospital, infusion, or specialty pharmacy settings. Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and sterile compounding. Proven leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability and willingness to obtain additional licenses as business expansion requires. Resides in or willing to relocate to the Las Vegas area.Schedule:
Monday through Friday, day shifts.Benefits & Incentives:
