LTC Closed Door Pharmacist (Contract, On-Site)
Location:
Reno, NV (On-site)
Pay:
$65.75/hour (W2)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday:
8:30 AM-5:00 PM or 12:30 PM-9:00 PM Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday): 8:30 AM-5:00
PM Type:
W2 Contract (approx. 2 months; extension not guaranteed)

2Position Summary We're hiring an LTC Closed Door Pharmacist for an on-site long-term care/closed-door pharmacy setting. Candidates should be available to start ASAP. Responsibilities Verify, fill, and dispense prescription medications with strong accuracy/quality standards Provide medication guidance and consultation (dosage, storage, side effects, interactions) Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation Identify and communicate medication-related issues with prescribers/healthcare partners Support compounding/prep activities as needed following proper procedures Supervise/support pharmacy staff (technicians/clerks) Assist with inventory management of pharmaceuticals and related supplies Requirements PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy) required Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice (state board licensed) Ability to work on-site and cover the listed shifts, including the weekend rotation Benefits (W2) Benefits may be available to eligible employees in accordance with plan guidelines.
