Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract An immediate opening is available for a Pharmacist or Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to support a 340B/Specialty Pharmacy setting in Bronx, NY. This contract opportunity offers a pivotal role overseeing pharmacy operations with a focus on patient safety, professional practice, and regulatory compliance. The position is structured to continue until a permanent replacement is secured.
Responsibilities include:
Providing medication counseling and education to patients, ensuring they understand their therapy. Managing pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, to foster skill development and close knowledge gaps through targeted training. Overseeing day-to-day pharmacy operations to maintain efficiency and compliance. Ensuring patient safety by adhering to established protocols and best practices. Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and pharmacy professional standards.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a lunch break from 12:30 PM to 1:00
PM Desired Qualifications and Experience:
