Key Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and ensure safe delivery under the supervision of the pharmacy manager. Counsel and advise patients on medication regimens, addressing any questions or concerns. Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and problems per organizational guidelines. Maintain pharmacy inventory, including controlled substances and drug records. Manage and clarify third-party insurance coverage issues for patients.

Qualifications:

Active and clear New York State pharmacist license. Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience. Previous retail pharmacy management experience preferred, but not required.
