13 weeks Schedule and Hours 40 hours per week Monday through Friday, department open 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM Shift options: 6:30 AM-3:00 PM, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, or 8:30 AM-5:00 PM No regular weekends or holidays; potential for every 3rd weekend if unforeseen leaves occur No formal on-call rotation currently; may be added 2-3 nights/week for well-trained travelers Responsibilities Verify and dispense medication orders accurately Oversee and supervise pharmacy technicians Perform pharmacokinetic dosing including vancomycin and aminoglycosides Support general inpatient pharmacy workflow and clinical needs Manage sterile compounding operations with technician oversight, ensuring proper gloving, garbing, hand hygiene, and compliance with USP standards Participate in competency validation onsite
