Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire An exciting opportunity is available for clinical pharmacists with expertise in intravenous (IV) therapies to join a growing, closed-door Long Term Care pharmacy in the Dublin, OH area. This direct hire position offers two roles: an IV Lead Pharmacist on the first shift and an IV Staff Pharmacist on the second shift, supporting expansion efforts and delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care.
Schedule/Hours:
IV Lead Pharmacist:
1st shift, Monday to Friday, flexible 7:00 am-3:30 pm or 8:00 am-4:30 pm
IV Staff Pharmacist:
2nd shift, Monday to Friday, flexible 4:30 pm-12:00 am or 6:00 pm-2:30 am
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, check, and dispense complex IV medications including hazardous drugs, TPN, and biologics, ensuring strict compliance with
USP 797/800
standards Evaluate medication orders for proper dosage, interactions, and patient-specific factors, monitoring therapeutic effectiveness and adverse reactions in specialized disease states such as oncology, immunology, and transplant Provide patient education on therapy administration, side effect management, and ongoing medication use Maintain regulatory compliance by managing documentation, cleanroom standards, and adherence to state and federal laws Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, physicians, and case managers to optimize patient care and medication delivery timeliness
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current Ohio pharmacist license in-hand (required) Proven experience in sterile IV compounding and clinical management of complex therapies Strong knowledge of
USP 797/800
guidelines and regulatory requirements Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment This is a direct hire opportunity with an immediate start to take on a vital role within an innovative specialty pharmacy focused on improving patient outcomes through expert clinical pharmacy services.
