Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire An experienced pharmacy professional is needed to lead a home infusion pharmacy as the Pharmacy Manager in a direct hire capacity. This role requires a leader skilled in managing pharmacy operations and personnel, with particular expertise in infusion or specialty pharmacy settings. The pharmacy is located in the northwest Columbus area, with exact location details provided upon vetting.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory management. Lead recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and administrative on-call scheduling of pharmacists and technicians. Ensure compliance with State Boards of Pharmacy laws and USP compounding standards to maintain quality and regulatory adherence. Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize patient outcomes in home-based intravenous therapies. Participate in budgeting, workflow optimization, and initiatives to drive branch performance and profitability.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution. Active, unrestricted Ohio pharmacist license. 5-7 years of direct clinical and operations experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy environments. Strong knowledge of IV admixture services and regulatory accreditation. Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on training and staff development. Experience with CPR+ or CareTend systems is highly preferred.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility required for administrative on-call duties.
Additional Information:
Direct hire opportunity with a compensation range of $150,000 to $158,000, dependent on experience. Submittal requires an updated resume, skills checklist, one reference from an infusion or specialty pharmacy manager, and a copy of the Ohio pharmacist license.
