Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract Support patient care in a 25-bed hospital setting located in Logan, OH, with a commitment to pharmacy excellence. This contracted position offers a structured schedule and the chance to contribute to specialized areas including Emergency Department (ED), Infusion, and Orthopedics. The role is ideal for pharmacists holding an Ohio license who have a minimum of one year's hospital experience and prefer familiarity with the EPIC order entry system.
Responsibilities:
Provide pharmaceutical care in a hospital environment with a focus on ED, Infusion, and Orthopedics. Accurately utilize the EPIC order entry system for medication management (experience preferred). Participate in on-call rotations to support pharmacy services outside regular hours. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use. Contribute to quality assurance and compliance initiatives within the pharmacy department. Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Active Ohio Pharmacist license required. At least 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience. Experience with the EPIC order entry system highly preferred. Ability to work Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with some on-call responsibilities and occasional Saturdays. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. On-call after some shifts. Occasional Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This contract assignment begins by September 8th at the latest and spans at least 13 weeks.
