Job Description
Annashae Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist for a 1099 contract opportunity with a hospital in Lancaster, Ohio . This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking for a consistent 7-days-on/7-days-off schedule and the autonomy of working as the sole pharmacist overnight, with Certified Pharmacy Technician support.
D. from an accredited College of Pharmacy. Current, valid Ohio Pharmacist License in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, or applicable compact eligibility. Recent hospital pharmacy experience. Ability to independently manage pharmacy operations during overnight hours. Strong clinical judgment, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Hospital Pharmacy Job Summary The Staff Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients, including medication order review, medication dispensing, therapeutic monitoring, drug information, medication safety, and support of patient care services. The pharmacist will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, pharmacy technicians, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals while ensuring all pharmacy services are provided in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and professional standards. Responsibilities Review, interpret, process, and accurately dispense medication orders and prescriptions. Monitor patient medication therapy for therapeutic appropriateness, effectiveness, and safety. Provide pharmaceutical care and medication-related recommendations to healthcare providers. Communicate drug information to patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in medication management during medical emergencies. Coordinate and oversee pharmacy technician activities during the shift. Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation. Follow departmental policies, procedures, and applicable pharmacy practice standards. Promote medication safety and quality improvement initiatives. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment. Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, teamwork, and excellent communication. Complete required education, training, and compliance activities. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications Required:
