Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A clinical hospital pharmacist position is available on a 13-week contract starting October 13 in New Lexington, OH. This role requires coverage of varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, to support inpatient pharmacy operations.

Schedule:

40 hours per week Typical shift: 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM Weekend hours vary based on staffing needs

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient hospital setting Manage pharmacokinetic dosing, particularly for vancomycin Oversee warfarin management and related anticoagulation therapy Utilize the electronic medical record system (EPIC) to document and verify medication orders Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy

Qualifications:

Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing Minimum of one year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience Experience with pharmacokinetic dosing and anticoagulation management Familiarity with EPIC Willow Inpatient preferred but not required Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and variable shifts This contract assignment provides an opportunity to apply clinical expertise in a dynamic hospital environment while working varied shifts.
