Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility with 25 licensed beds and an average daily census of 25-30 is seeking a Temporary Staff Pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services starting in early to mid-September. This contract role offers 40 hours per week coverage, Monday through Friday, with some on-call responsibilities and occasional Saturday shifts.

Location:

Near New Lexington, OH Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM Occasional Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM On-call duties after certain shifts

Responsibilities:

Accurately process and verify medication orders using the EPIC system, ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulations Support pharmacy operations in specialty areas including Emergency Department, Infusion, and Orthopedics Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy and provide pharmaceutical care Participate in on-call rotations to provide urgent pharmacy services as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Ohio Pharmacist licensure required Experience with EPIC order entry system highly preferred Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices and patient safety standards Ability to work effectively in various clinical settings such as ED, Infusion, and Orthopedics This is a contract opportunity for pharmacists who are detail-oriented, adaptable, and ready to contribute effectively within a busy hospital environment.
