Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to support a 25-bed hospital located in Logan, OH. The role offers a contract engagement starting between September 8th and 14th, with a minimum duration of 13 weeks. The schedule consists of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, with some on-call responsibilities after shifts and occasional Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Your primary responsibilities will include managing pharmacy operations within specialized areas such as Emergency Department (ED), Infusion, and Orthopedics. Experience with the EPIC order entry system is highly preferred, supporting efficient medication management and patient safety. The site does not currently utilize automation systems, making manual expertise essential.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Ohio Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacy experience Proficiency with EPIC order entry system highly preferred Capability to handle varied pharmacy duties in ED, Infusion, and Orthopedics settings Ability to manage on-call responsibilities and occasional weekend hours
