Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Job Type Contract A hospital pharmacy opportunity is available in Logan, OH, offering a 13-week+ contract with a schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6 pm, plus on-call duties after some shifts and occasional Saturdays from 8 am to 4:30 pm. This role supports a licensed 25-bed facility specializing in emergency department (ED), infusion, and orthopedic services.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and verify medication orders using the EPIC order entry system. Collaborate with healthcare teams in the ED, infusion, and orthopedic departments to ensure appropriate medication therapy. Provide on-call pharmacy support to address urgent clinical needs. Participate in accurate dispensing and distribution of medications. Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory pharmacy standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current Ohio Pharmacist license. Minimum of one year of hospital pharmacy experience. Proficiency with EPIC order entry system highly preferred. Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations and medication management. Ability to work independently and respond promptly during on-call assignments.
Schedule:
40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 6 pm. On-call after certain shifts. Occasional Saturdays 8 am to 4:30 pm.
