Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Job Type Contract This opportunity offers a dynamic role in a specialized hospital setting, supporting emergency department, infusion, and orthopedic care units. The position is based in Logan, OH, serving a licensed 25-bed facility. The role requires a dedicated pharmacist with a proactive mindset and a commitment to enhancing patient care through precise pharmaceutical services. Responsibilities include managing medication order entry using the EPIC system, ensuring accurate dispensing, collaborating with clinical teams to optimize pharmacotherapy in the ED, infusion, and orthopedic units, and providing on-call support as needed. Candidates will participate in maintaining compliance with hospital policies and contribute to the smooth operation of pharmacy services.
Schedule and Location:
Located in Logan, OH 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM On-call duties following select shifts Occasional Saturdays, 8:00 AM - 4:30
PM Qualifications and Experience:
Active Ohio Pharmacist license required Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacy experience Experience with EPIC order entry system highly preferred Familiarity with specialized areas such as emergency, infusion, and orthopedic pharmacy services is advantageous This contract position has a duration of 13 weeks or longer, with a start date requested as soon as possible.
