Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a Clinical Pharmacist to provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services across two hospital sites with a combined total of 65 beds. The role focuses on optimizing medication therapies, ensuring safe medication use, and fostering effective communication within interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Schedule:
Flexible shifts starting between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM Work every 4th weekend Contract duration: 14 weeks, starting ASAP through January 2, 2027
Key Responsibilities:
Manage typical inpatient pharmacy duties, including medication verification and clinical interventions Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee cleanroom operations to maintain quality standards Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care plans Utilize EPIC electronic health record system to document and review medication orders for two sites (25-bed and 40-bed units)
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Ohio pharmacist license is required Prior experience in an inpatient or clinical pharmacy setting Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams Demonstrated responsibility, confidence, and commitment to kindness in patient care and workplace interactions This is a contract opportunity suited for pharmacists seeking a dynamic inpatient role with flexible scheduling.
